Don’t Miss Jill Bell’s Presentation Jan. 28, 2012!
Join us for the Kansas City Letter Arts Exchange’s kickoff event of 2012!
We’re in for a treat as Jill Bell will share a slide presentation about the work of Harold Adler, a talented hand letterer who shaped Hollywood’s movie titles from behind the scenes. Adler, who passed away in 2002 at age 89, worked with renown title designers such as Saul Bass and Paul Ferro. Jill knew Adler personally and delivered this talk in 2010 at Typecon, an annual conference for typography aficionados.
This meeting will also be a time to mingle informally with the K.C. lettering arts community and share the exciting things KCLAX has in store for 2012.
Know someone who might be interested? Please feel free to forward this message. See you then!
